Kybella

Reduce 'double chin' and contour along the jawline with the only FDA-approved injectable designed to permanently diminish and enhance the appearance of resistant fat beneath the chin.

What is it?

Kybella® is a revolutionary treatment designed to target and eliminate stubborn submental fat, commonly known as a double chin. Kybella's active ingredient, synthetic deoxycholic acid, dissolves fat cells, resulting in a more contoured and defined jawline. This FDA-approved injectable treatment offers a non-surgical alternative to traditional liposuction, providing lasting results with minimal downtime.

What to expect

During a Kybella treatment, expect a series of injections directly into the area under the chin. The procedure typically takes around 15 to 20 minutes. You may experience temporary discomfort or a burning sensation during the injections, which can be alleviated with a topical anesthetic or ice packs. Following the treatment, some swelling, bruising, or redness may occur, but these side effects usually subside within a few days to a week. Multiple treatment sessions may be necessary to achieve optimal results, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. If you are interested in Kybella, contact one of our offices in Avon, Sandusky, Broadview Heights, Medina, Port Clinton, and Strongsville, Ohio, to schedule a consultation.
